*** Pendragon -- Kowtow

In 1985, Marillion hit the big time with a progressive pop track called "Kayleigh". Huge concerts, tours and paychecks followed. After the departure of Fish, the band attempted to again crack the pop market with the much derided album "Holidays in Eden". They might have learned from this 1988 Pendragon release, which treaded much the same waters. Mostly short songs, with a couple longer ones tossed in, this stab at prog-pop isn't the bands finest hour, but it remains ok listening material. Do not buy this after other Pendragon releases, and expect to be as satisfied.
