*** King Crimson -- Schizoid Man
Although I've never been a real big fan of this song, when I came across it on a recent trip in Canada, I picked it up for $10US. I'm likely a little biased, since like I said, I don't like the song all that much, but this was probably a waste of money. Five versions of the song, which first appeared on "In the Court of the Crimson King". Three are live, one each with Greg Lake, Boz Burrell, and John Wetton. Of these three, Wetton's is probably the best, but Burrell's is easily the worst. Fuzzy distorted vocals and playing. A bit surprising, given that I liked "Islands" so much. The other two tracks are studio, one the album version, another an edit.
